# New VOMS endpoint rollout ### July GDB 2021 ###### WLCG AuthZ WG --- ### Background - IAM has been set up for ATLAS and CMS - It offers a backwards compatible VOMS endpoint - These endpoints will need to be trusted as proxy issuers on the grid --- ### Plan * September: * run a campaign for WLCG sites in EGI to add the new LSC files (GGUS tickets and/or broadcasts) * OSG will include those files as of ~now in their release (and remind their sites as needed) * October: * all relevant services are expected to have new LSC files * ATLAS and CMS may start using the IAM VOMS endpoints in production * voms-proxy-init details ("vomses") will be documented and broadcast * December: * "Old" VOMS-Admin endpoints retired for CMS (other experiments to define timelines) --- ## Questions or Comments?
